SAUGET, IL - The Gateway Grizzlies are bringing a Halloween tradition back to Arsenal BG Ballpark as Spooky Ball presented by CEFCU returns for its third year on Saturday, October 24, 2026, featuring a one-of-a-kind baseball game, trick-or-treating, costume contests, specialty jersey auctions, and plenty of family-friendly Halloween entertainment. Combining the excitement of baseball with the fun of Halloween, Spooky Ball transforms Arsenal BG Ballpark into a festive destination for families throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. The festivities begin when gates open at 2:30 PM , with trick-or-treating taking place throughout the ballpark until 4:00 PM. Families are encouraged to arrive in costume and enjoy an afternoon filled with activities, including face painting, balloon artists, roaming mascots, music, and costume contests. At 4:00 PM , the baseball action begins as the Ghostbusters take on the Headless Horsemen in a fast-paced, Halloween-themed game inspired by the entertaining style of Banana Ball. Fans can expect a unique twist on traditional baseball, with plenty of surprises and entertainment throughout the afternoon. Adding to the excitement, the Grizzlies will host a specialty jersey and hat auction , featuring the custom uniforms worn by the Ghostbusters and Headless Horsemen. The Ghostbusters will take the field in white jerseys featuring bright green slime-inspired designs, while the Headless Horsemen will sport black jerseys with orange pinstripes and Halloween-themed lettering. Now entering its third year, Spooky Ball has become a unique addition to the Grizzlies' annual event calendar, giving families another opportunity to experience Arsenal BG Ballpark beyond the traditional Frontier League baseball season. The event is designed to offer something for everyone, from young fans looking to collect Halloween candy to baseball enthusiasts interested in an unconventional matchup and collectors hoping to take home exclusive memorabilia. PEARL, MS – The Mississippi Mud Monsters are giving fans the opportunity to own a piece of franchise history with the auction of their original game-worn teal jerseys. Bidding is now open and will close on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Central. The jerseys, which debuted during the Mud Monsters' inaugural game on May 8, 2025, at Trustmark Park, were part of the team's original uniform collection and were worn throughout the franchise's first two seasons. Designed by Mud Monsters General Manager David Kerr, the teal Rawlings jerseys feature the team's signature dripping "Creature Flow" lettering, created by The Cirlot Agency, along with a Mississippi state flag on the right sleeve. Unlike replicas or reproductions, each jersey available in the auction is an authentic, game-worn piece from the team's original uniform collection. Fans can browse the available jerseys, review player histories and sizes, and place bids on their preferred numbers. "I still remember when these were just artwork on my computer," said Kerr. "Before we ever played a game, I got to design our first uniforms. On May 8, 2025, I got to stand at Trustmark Park and watch our players take the field wearing them. That's a pretty special thing to get to see." "Two seasons later, they've been worn by a lot of players and seen a lot of baseball. Now we're giving our fans the chance to own those originals," Kerr added. The auction offers fans a unique opportunity to celebrate the early history of the Mississippi Mud Monsters while taking home an authentic piece of the franchise's first two seasons.
